भामिनीविलासः-४१

निर्दूषणा गुणवती रसभावपूर्णा सालङ्कृतिः श्रवणमङ्गलवर्णराजिः ।

सा मामकीनकवितेव मनोऽभिरामा रामा कदापि हृदयान्मम नापयाति ॥ ६ ॥

अन्वयः : निर्दूषणा गुणवती रसभावपूर्णा सालङ्कृतिः श्रवणमङ्गलवर्णराजिः मनोऽभिरामा सा रामा मामकीनकवित इव मम हृदयात् कदा अपि न अपयाति ।

Being faultless, having positive qualities, being full of sentiments, being well adorned, speaking melodious words my lady like my poetry is always delightful and never leaves my heart.[ All the epithets निर्दूषणा, गुणवती, रसभावपूर्णा, सालङ्कृतिः, श्रवणमङ्गलवर्णराजिः are applicable to both poetry and the lady.]

चिन्ता शशाम सकलापि सरोरुहाणामिन्दोश्च बिम्बमसमां सुषमामयासीत् ।

अभ्युद्गतः कलकलः किल कोकिलानां प्राणप्रिये यदवधि त्वमितो गतासि ॥ ७ ॥

अन्वयः : यदवधि त्वम् इतः गता असि (तदवधि) सरोरुहाणां सकला अपि चिन्ता शशाम, इन्दोः बिम्बं च असमां सुषमाम् अयासीत्, कोकिलानां कलकलः अभ्युद्गतः किल ।

Ever since you left this place (world), the anxiety of lotuses was quenched, the orb of moon got an unequalled grace and the cooing of cuckoos became prominent. [ So long as you were around, lotuses were not in ascendance, the moon was not at his best and the cooing of cuckoos were not the sweetest as you were a rival to them.]

सौदामिनीविलसितप्रतिमानकाण्डान् दत्त्वा कियन्त्यपि दिनानि महेन्द्रभोगान् ।

मन्त्रोज्झितस्य नृपतेरिव राज्यलक्ष्मीः भाग्यच्युतस्य करतो मम निर्गतासि ॥ ८ ॥

अन्वयः :  कियन्ति अपि दिनानि सौदामिनीविलसितप्रतिमान कान्डान् महेन्द्रभोगान् दत्त्वा मन्त्रोज्झितस्य नृपतेः राज्यलक्ष्मीः इव भाग्यच्युतस्य मम करतः निर्गता असि ।

Having given me the pleasures just for a few days fit for Mahendra, like the flash of a lightning, you have slipped away from my hands who is bereft of good fortune in the way the kingdom slips away from a king who is not properly counseled.

काव्यात्मना मनसि पर्यणमन् पुरा मे पीयूषसारसरसास्तव ये विलासाः ।

तानन्तरेण रमणीरमणीयशीले चेतोहरा सुकविता भविता कथं नः ॥ १० ॥

अन्वयः : रमणीयशीले! तव ये पीयूषसारसरसाः विलासाः पुरा मे मनसि काव्यात्मना पर्यणमन्, तान् अन्तरेण नः सुकविता रमणी चेतोहरा कथं भविता?

Lady of charming manners! At one time your playfulness which was the essence of ambrosia transformed itself into soul of my poetry. Now without it how will my poetry be enchanting and captivating?    

  

या तावकीनमधुरस्मितकान्तिकान्ते

भूमण्डले विफलतां कविषु व्यतानीत् ।

सा कातराक्षि विलयं त्वयि यातवत्यां

राकाधुना वहति वैभवमिन्दिरायाः ॥ ११ ॥

अन्वयः : कातराक्षि! तावकीन-मधुर-स्मित-कान्ति-कान्ते भूमण्डले या कविषु विफलतां व्यतानीत्, सा राका त्वयि विलयं यातवत्याम् अधुना इन्दिरायाः वैभवं वहति ।

Lady of tremulous eyes! The full moon night which had made poets feel fruitless in this world which had acquired brightness from the luster of your sweet smile has now obtained the grace of Lakshmi after your demise. [Lamentation of a lover who has lost his beloved. So long as the lady was alive, the full moon night had been robbed of its grandeur.]
